What does a cooking lesson consist of? You pick one dish from the 4 different food groups (or a menu can be customized to your needs.) This is a custom way of learning what you want. Some suggestions are Italian, Indian, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Morrocan and much more.
After each class, we will enjoy what we cooked and go over any questions and gather more information.

The cooking classes offered are about learning how to put a complete meal together, inspiring, combining flavors, and herbs. Healthy cooking means that you have started with the basics and will learn to have options at your fingertips. At Wendy's Vegetarian Kitchen, we never knowingly use GMO's and we stay away from processed foods.
In every cooking class you’ll learn "Seasoning 101”. The proper way to season a dish will alter and enhance the flavor of all your meals.
In your cooking class you’ll learn how to keep a well stocked pantry, fridge, condiments, and freezer. All of this gives you options to pull together a variety of delicious and wholesome meals in a pinch.
You will learn the proper and fastest way to cut and prepare vegetables, legumes, nuts and how to swap out a less favorable food for a better one all with the same results as you are used to.
In booking a cheese making class know that Wendy will not teach the cheeses that she sells but will be glad to teach you several others. Milk based cheese, cream cheese, ricotta, etc

All East Coast orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail (overnight or 2 day) with insulated packaging and ice packs or dry ice. Shipping fee is calculated by weight.WEST COAST ORDERS (North Dakota down to Texas and all states westward)
All West Coast orders are shipped via FedEx 2-day) with insulated packaging and ice packs or dry ice. Shipping fee is calculated by weight.
FedEx 2-Day orders up to 5 lbs - $55.00
FedEx 2-Day orders 5.01 lbs to 10 lbs - $65.00
FedEx 2-Day orders 10.01 lbs and up - $96.00
Due to the perishable nature of the product, shipments are sent without a signature required to avoid excessive periods in the carrier's possession. It is therefore very important that you ship to a location where someone will be there to receive it. Many of our subscribers ship to work locations or a neighbor who is often home.
Please do not be alarmed if your cheese arrives in a state of thawing (which may happen if your area is quite warm at the time of delivery), as there are no animal-based ingredients that pose a health risk of going bad by being exposed to some heat during the final part of delivery. It will be adequate to consume even if it is not completely chilled when it arrives. Items may begin to warm up on the 2nd day in transit if they are transported in warm trucks or are being delivered to hot areas. So long as you ensure proper delivery in this time frame items will only warm up for a short period at most and will stay cool for the bulk of the journey to you.
